Legendary HOT ROD Drag Week champion and internationally known street car enthusiast Larry Larson poses with an ear of corn after being crowned “King of the Corn” at the first-ever Ethanol Nationals at Kearney Raceway Park sponsored by Ignite Racing Fuel. Racing in the outlaw category, Larson drove his twin-turbocharged big block Chevy-powered S10 to the $24,000 victory in just his first time running E98. “The air fuel ratio and timing is a little bit different compared to methanol,” says Larson, “but the power level is comparable.”
